Faramis is a magic damage dealer support who has been revamped, because of the consistent low picks of this hero during most matches especially ranked matches in Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB). His revamp has buffed and increased his damage output and durability while using his new ultimate ability. In this Mobile Legends guide, we will look at the best emblem, spells, and builds, including tips and tricks to dominate every game with Faramis.

Skill Analysis

Faramis has three active skills and a passive skill like most other heroes in-game. In this Mobile Legends guide, we will also talk about the skills to use in certain scenarios, as well as skill combos to be able to play Faramis to his maximum potential.

Passive – Vicious Retrieval

Every 4s, Faramis and his next skill against enemy heroes and summoned objects generates a soul fragment on the spot. Faramis can absorb the soul fragments to restore 100 (+50% Total Magic Power) HP and gain 2 extra Magic Power (up to 40 stacks).

Upon death, he consumes the absorbed soul fragments to reduce the respawn timer, each reducing the timer by 3% (up to 90%). Enemies that die around Faramis also have a chance to drop soul fragments.

Skill 1 – Shadow Stampede

Faramis enters the Shadow state for 3s, gaining 70% extra movement speed, 25/30/35/40/45/50 extra Physical and Magic defence, increased soul absorption range, and the ability to move through terrains. Enemy heroes that come into contact with Faramis in this state are dealt 250/280/310/340/370/400 (+60% Total Magic Power) and applied with a nether Mark.

Upon leaving the Shadow state, Faramis drags all the marked enemy heroes towards him, dealing them 250/280/310/340/370/400 (+60% Total Magic Power) Magic Damage. On using again, Faramis leaves the shadow state early and pulls the marked enemy towards him. The range of soul fragment absorption is increased while the skill is active.

Skill 2 – Ghost Busters

Faramis gathers Nether energy in a fan-shaped area ahead, dealing 330/360/390/420/450/480 (+144% Total Magic Power) Magic Damage to enemies within. The energy will then split and bounce to nearby enemies, dealing 200/220/240/260/280/300 (+86% Total Magic Power) Magic Damage (splits up to 2 times on enemy hero hits and 1 Time on non-enemy hero hits.

When the Spectar state breaks, the hero will clear all debuffs and enter a brief Resurrection state. An allied hero’s Spectar state ends when they leave the Nether Realm.

Skill-up method for Faramis

It is advisable to first prioritize and unlock Faramis Skill 2 as it is his main damage source and it also helps to stack his passive easily. On attaining Lvl. 2, unlock Faramis First skill while upgrading it accordingly. While unlocking Faramis Ultimate ability, prioritize and upgrade this skill whenever available.

With its first build, Arcane Boots provides extra Magic Penetration against enemy hero targets. But if one is roaming, one can bless the boots with Perks like Encourage which helps to inspire your allied teammates making them much more powerful on the battlefield. Next up is Lightning Truncheon, it’s very vital equipment since it deals extra damage when a skill is used making it more painful to enemy targets, this extra damage can also hit multiple enemy targets

Next up, Build the Glowing Wand for its extra burn effect as it makes it quite hard for enemies to Regen quickly thereby reducing their durability. Other equipment like Holy Crystal provides lots of magic power that would greatly enhance the magic damage of Faramis. Complementing this with Blood Wings does increase the durability of Faramis, by granting him a constant shield over time. Lastly, one must follow up with Divine Glaive will help provide extra magic penetration to burst down even tanky heroes.

Mobile Legends Faramis Gameplay Tips

As discussed before, Faramis is a magic damage dealer who can be played as a damage-type mage/support. However, a player must need a good understanding of the map to bring the best out of any hero. According to his gameplay, we can break it down into three phases. Our Mobile Legends Faramis guide includes the perfect game plan for the early, mid, and late game.

Early Game

While playing Faramis as a laner, his Early gameplay revolves around farming and poking enemies with his abilities. In the early game, it’s advisable to go mid-lane if one’s team lacks a mage unless one is planning on roaming to help assist allied teammates. So while laning, use Faramis Skill 2 to hit the enemy hero target to let it split three times to nearby enemy units like minions.

Properly maximizing the perks of this skill helps to clear minion waves much more easily. On attaining level 2 and unlocking Faramis first skill, use it to move closer to enemy hero targets while ensuring that Faramis comes in contact with them, this will then leave a mark on those enemy heroes resulting in them being dragged towards Faramis when he leaves the shadow state.

This is quite essential when being ganked in your lame by enemy heroes. Also while playing Faramis do also remember to follow his passive and pick up any soul fragments dropped by enemy units, as doing this grants many perks including a reduced respawn timer amongst other perks. You can additionally perform the following skill combos to gain an upper hand on the battlefield:

Skill 1 + Skill 2

Mid Game

On attaining Level 4 and unlocking the ultimate ability of Faramis, one must use the ultimate ability to greatly increase one’s durability as the extra HP given by this ability is quite useful to survive bad situations on the battlefield. Another important perk granted by Faramis’ ultimate skill is the increased range through which soul fragments could be absorbed.

This skill can also be useful when faced with burst magic damage dealers or while trying to help your teammates take important objectives like the turtle. Hence, the mid-game laning phase gameplay of Faramis revolves around farming, and poking enemies while trying to enhance your durability against them. You can form the following skill move during this situation of the game:

Skill 1 + Skill 2 + Skill 3 + Skill 2

Late Game

In the late game laning phase, one must try to play safe as enemies might have completed their equipment builds, meaning one must plan Faramis skills well to prevent unnecessary deaths. In doing this, one must learn to ensure that as many enemy hero targets are hit by the shadow state from Farami’s First skill as this would help reduce the skill’s cooldown making it easier to use the skill again in a much shorter period.
