FC Mobile 25 Ballon d’Or Event Flow
Intro
As has been the case this season, the first tab, the Intro Tab, in this case, acts as a guide to the other chapters and the overall event. It’s not functional and redirects to other tabs, including the Ballon d’Or Quests, Challenge Mode, Exchanges, and Store Offers.
Therefore, the Intro tab is the place to easily navigate to different game modes where you can earn Rewards related to the event. Besides, this Intro Tab also showcases the Final Rewards that you can grab from the event in case you choose to go down that route. The Final Rewards include a choice among three Universal Rank Player – Mascheranos and two different Ballon d’Or Player Packs.
Things do get a real interesting here as the Ballon d’Or Player Packs offer a 97, 98, and 99 OVR Ballon d’Or Player each, along with either a 102 OVR CAM Lionel Messi or 102 OVR ST Cristiano Ronaldo, based on the pack you choose. And suddenly like in previous events, investing everything in getting Mascherano doesn’t seem to be the only logical route!
So basically the Main Tab acts more like a Hub to get to everything including all the three Final Rewards. The Tab lets you know what you are set for in the event. But spoiler alert, you will need a huge amount of the event currency to claim these Final Rewards as they can only be unlocked after claiming four weeks of Primary Store Rewards.
Main
In the Main Tab, where you will log in each day and play through a series of two Skill Games and Matches to earn Vote Tickets in the Earn Vote Tickets section. There are three daily Ads as well in this tab that you can watch every day to earn additional Vote Tickets. Complete Skill Games and Matches to earn Vote Tickets.
Next, you can check the Weekly Path of Skill Games and Matches which is just on the right-hand side of the Earn Vote Tickets section. The Weekly Path is a pretty long path that allows you to play through a series of Skill Games and Matches rewarding you with additional Vote Tickets and Ballon d’Or Players. You can work your way through the path by starting to play the Matches and Skill Games and earning Vote Tickets.
As you work your way across the Yard, you will receive rewards including Gems, Vote Tickets, and Ballon d’Or Players. Towards the end of the path, you must choose one of the two roads to follow and unlock a former 98 OVR Ballon d’Or winner or nominee from the past ie an Icon. Earn more Vote Tickets by completing Skill Games and Matches on any one of the Paths.
There are a total of Four Paths with each of them unlocking on the weekly resets. While a Path is unlocked on the first day of reset, the entirety of the path ie the Player Rewards at the end will be gradually unlocked throughout the week. Therefore, although a new Path will be unlocked every week with new Ballon d’Or Players as more players are added each week, you won’t be able to complete the entirety on Day 1.
Rewards
This is the Rewards Chapter, where you will be spending your Vote Tickets. The Rewards tab has three sets of weekly Store namely Primary, Limited, and Regular Store rewards. Each week there will be a new set of Store Rewards unlocked with new Ballon d’Or Players with only Week 1 being unlocked currently.
The Primary Store offers a choice between two untradeable 100 OVR Players with one of them being pre-ranked to 100 OVR. If you are interested in going for the Player Reward, you can go for the Primary Store Rewards. Do remember that should you want to claim the Final Rewards from the Intro Tab, you will need the Primary Store reward every week for the next four weeks.
On the other hand, the Limited Store Packs offer Coins, Gems, Ballon d’Or Players, and Universal Rank Player – Mascheranos throughout the event. Should the Limited Store Rewards refresh weekly along with the Primary Store, then you can have the chance to claim a Mascherano every week! Keep an eye on the Primary Store as new players will be introduced every week in the Rewards Tab.
Alternatively, you can spend your Vote Tickets in the Regular Store to receive Coins, Gems, or 70-101 OVR Ballon d’Or Players for 20 Vote Tickets each. Claim 70-101 OVR Ballon d’Or Players using your Vote Tickets in the Regular Store. New players will be added for every round in this section. Once you have earned enough Vote Tickets to obtain your rewards from the Primary or Limited Stores, you can utilize them in the Regular Store.
The final section contains the Reward Path, but it works a bit differently than the usual Rewards Paths. Progress on the Path, similar to the CONMEBOL Libertadores event is made by collecting Vote Tickets and not earning them. Yes, this path is not about spending the Vote Tickets but about earning them! Collect Vote Tickets to claim the Rewards from the path including Coins, Gems, the Golden Glory Logo, and two Universal Rank Player – Mascheranos.
Gallery
Next over here in the final tab Gallery Tab, whereas in past events, all the event-exclusive players are being displayed. These are the sets of players that are available in Packs only so you can only avail them provided your luck is great.
New Players will be available weekly in the Gallery tab of the Ballon d’Or event! Head over to the Gallery to find all Player Items that were added that week. Additionally, there is a Daily Bonus pack that offers Coins, Gems, or 70-95 OVR Players. Don’t expect anything more than some elites at max from this week.
Challenge Mode
Well since this is not a mini-event, there will be a Challenge Mode as well! The Challenge Mode is exactly like the previous event ie a rehash of previous events. The only difference is you will be getting a chance at players from higher OVR but you still won’t be getting any Ballon d’Or-specific currencies.
There will be both Daily and Weekend-special Challenge modes that hand out Players, Gems, and Coins. Since there are no H2H or Division Rivals matches involved, therefore it should be fairly easy to win. Don’t forget to check out the Weekend Challenge where you can earn up to 96-105 OVR Players!
Star Pass
Of course, the Star Pass is running simultaneously with the event. There are in-game resources present in the Star Pass. Complete Quests throughout the event to earn Star Pass progress, which includes rewards such as Coins, Gems, Training Transfer Points, FC Points, and other Cosmetic items including Emotes and Kits.
Don’t forget to check out the newest Ballon d’Or-themed Star Pass that is available at launch, including a 105 OVR pre-ranked LW Rivaldo. So don’t forget your daily quests to progress through the Star Pass! Earning Star Pass Credits will unlock more rewards along the Star Pass path. There are two tiers to the Star Pass: free and premium. You can also use FC Points to move faster through Star Pass levels and collect rewards faster.
FC Mobile 25 Ballon d’Or Event Currencies
- Earn them by completing Quests, watching Ads, and playing the Skill Games and Matches in the Earn Vote Tickets and Weekly Paths from the Main tab
- Spend them in either of the Primary, Limited, or Regular Stores in the Rewards tab
Running the Math for F2P Players
As per our calculations, the following sums up the chances for F2P Players.
Resource Management
Vote Tickets | |
Earn Vote Tickets | 4500 |
Weekly Path | 4800 |
Watch Ads | 1800 |
Ballon d’Or Quest | 1000 |
Daily Quests | 4500 |
Total | 16600 |
Since the Challenge Mode does not give out Vote Tickets, therefore further tickets can’t be obtained from there But if you have extra Pumpkins from the past you can trade them at an Exchange Rate of 3x Pumpkins for 1x Vote Tickets with a total of 300 times ie 900 Pumpkins for 300 Vote Tickets. If we keep that aside, then from simply playing the event, one can easily accumulate a total of:
You can get at least a minimum of 16600 Vote Tickets from playing the event
Also, you can earn additional Vote Tickets by exchanging Universal Tokens at an Exchange Rate of 3x Universal Tokens for 1x Vote Ticket with a total of 400 times ie 1200 Universal Tokens for 400 Vote Tickets Daily. Therefore if you stress on earning Universal Tokens from Icon Chronicles and by grinding the VSA, H2H, and Manager mode matches, you can gain an advantage in acquiring Vote Tickets daily.
FC Mobile 25 Ballon d’Or Event Tips and Tricks
Ballon d’Or has a fair amount of grind, with daily skill games and matches to play in FC Mobile 25. So here are our additional tips and tricks to help you get the best from the event. It took us a while to get these answers and calculate everything so let’s explain it here.
Now tips for the event. Play everything. Be excited that there’s no event energy or stamina involved anymore in the new season. We’re not dealing with the constant fear of energy getting wasted and full and neither has there been a single ad since the game was released. So yes, definitely enjoy it while you can.
Rewards
Vote Tickets | |
Primary Store | 4800 |
Primary Store every Week | 19200 |
Limited Store Mascherano | 600 |
Entire Limited Store | 1400 |
Regular Store | 20 |
From the Calculations above you can see that should you play the event throughout, you are gonna easily end with at least 16600 Vote Tickets. With that, you can utilize spending on the three different Stores in the Rewards tab. Now if you are going for the Final Rewards from the Intro Tab ie either the three Universal Rank Player – Mascheranos or the 102 OVR Messi or Ronaldo packs, you will be needing a lot more Vote Tickets than that.
As discussed previously, to claim the Final Rewards, you will need to claim all four weeks of the Primary Store Rewards ie, claim either of the two untradeable 100 OVR Players every week for 4800 Vote Tickets each. Therefore to claim the Primary Store Rewards every week, you will need a total of 19200 Vote Tickets which is substantially higher than the 16600 Vote Tickets that you can obtain.
To negate the difference, you will need to additionally trade Universal Tokens daily at a max exchange limit of 1200 Universal Tokens for 400 Vote Tickets. Therefore if you focus on grinding Division Rivals VSA, H2H, and Manager mode matches and complete the Daily Match and Skill Games from Icon Chronicles, you can accumulate a lot of Universal Tokens that you can utilize for Vote Tickets should you need them.
Remember to use any leftover Pumpkins from the Trick or Treat event or Pass Points to earn additional Vote Tickets as utilizing them, you can gather 600 Vote Tickets, thereby further reducing the deficit. You can currently get 400 Universal Tokens daily from the Icon Chronicles Hexad event, which in a 3:1 ratio translates to around 133 Vote Tickets daily.
Therefore should you just play the Skill Games and Matches from the Icon Chronicles Hexad for the next 30 days ie throughout the event and entirely dismiss grinding Division Rivals, you can get 12000 Universal Tokens which will in turn translate to 4000 Vote Tickets and that should overwrite the deficit. Therefore taking your total to:
Vote Tickets | |
Playing the Event | 16600 |
Pumpkin Exchanges | 300 |
Pass Point Exchanges | 300 |
Universal Tokens Exchanges | 4000 |
Total | 21200 |
Therefore from the above, we can see if you utilize your Universal Tokens, you can easily overtun the deficit and get you to your 19200 Vote Tickets to get all four weeks of the Primary Store Rewards. Henceforth you should be able to claim the elusive Final Reward from the Intro tab as well!
You can get your choice of Final Rewards ie 102 OVR Messi or Ronaldo free-to-play from the event
Maximize your Mascherano from the event
There’s one thing the Ballon d’Or event has brought in FC Mobile ie the Mascheranos and there are plenty of them on the offer. There is a Mascherano available in the Limited Store every week for 600 Vote Tickets, and you can use your leftover Vote Tickets to claim them. There is a free Mascherano given out after completing the Ballon d’Or Quests as well.
Finally in the Final Rewards, if you are not a fan of either of the two Goats or your team already has better players in those positions, then just go for the three Universal Rank Player – Mascheranos on offer which can prove in the longer run. Additionally, you can earn two more Mascheranos every week from the Exchanges. And if you add them all up, you can get at least 15 Mascheranos from just grinding the four-week-long event! That is actually pretty decent!
FC Mobile 25 Ballon d’Or Event Players
That’s it the FC Mobile 25 Ballon d’Or event in a nutshell. Beyond that, there isn’t much to say about this event. All the calculations are at your doorstep there, do with it what you will and plan carefully. Basically, play the event, every day, and grind it out.
Ballon d’Or is a decent and grind-heavy event. It’s four weeks long and there’s a lot more going on here than we have seen in the past in FC Mobile! Finally, after ages, we can actually utilize Universal Tokens as an alternate event currency. Henceforth don’t miss out on them and keep playing the Icon Chronicles Hexad matches and grind Division Rivals as well if you get time!
Also, it finally seems the community’s voices have been heard and the devs are working in the right direction. Although given the current state of events, the bar is not high, but its definitely a step in the right direction, definitely better than what we have seen in the past!
