FC Mobile 24 Lunar New Year Event Description

Event Duration:  February 8th – February 21st (14 Days)

FC Mobile 24 Lunar New Year Event Flow

Main

Lunar New Year is the latest event and as the thing with events this season, it’s a mini-event running simultaneously with the major event ie TOTY for the next two weeks. So here in the main tab, you will have the Red Envelopes that you will open each day. You don’t need to do anything to open them as they are like login rewards for the event.

They are just free Envelopes that you claim each day as login rewards for LNY Points. Additionally, there are special Envelopes that you can open on occasions such as Lunar New Year’s Eve, the first day of Lunar New Year, and Valentine’s Day! The special Envelopes give out Gems, Standard Lunar New Year Packs, and more LNY Points.

Similar to previous mini-events, the maximum of the event is laid out in the Main Tab itself with the Daily Quests which hand out more LNY Points. The Quests are simple and range from scoring goals, making tackles, assists, and playing Division Rivals matches. Therefore they can be completed hassle-free by just logging in and playing the game regularly.

There are additional Quests on completing which you can earn extra LNY Points. Complete the Quests for extra LNY Points and Lunar New Year Pass Credits, which help you gain progress down the Lunar New Year Pass. Therefore completing the Quests also helps you gain progress down the Lunar New Year Pass. Additionally, on completing the Quests for the event, you fill out your LNY FP Bank with which you can buy FC Points in the Store at an 80% discounted rate.

Dragon Trial

This is a continuation of the Main Chapter, on the right-hand side of the Quests and present in the Main Tab itself. In the Dragon Trial, you need to defeat a team of Lunar New Year event Players with a preset team of Lunar New Year event Zodiac Players with the scoreline being 0-2 down for extra LNY Points, Lunar New Year Packs, Emotes, and a Manchester City Year of the Dragon jersey

If the match gets too tricky for you, you can further lower its difficulty by playing the set of four Skill Games and three Matches in the Mini Challenge section. The Mini Challenge resets every couple of days thereby enabling you to lower the difficulty of the Dragon Trial match further.

But at the beginning of the event, if you completed it and finished the Mini Challenge and Dragon Trial match in at least level 3, you can claim all the rewards and you are done. Needless to say, completely disappointing!

There’s nothing more in this section, that’s it you are done on Day 1 of the event. If there is nothing new added in the event for which the chances are less, then all you are gonna get for completing these Skill Games and Matches beyond that is just some Coins!

LNY Gift

Moving into the LNY Gift Tab, here you will spend your hard-earned LNY Points. There are two paths to use your LNY Points, the first one is the Dragon Lantern. The Dragon Lantern is a path that requires you to spend Gems at times to work your way through it. You can get Gems, Coins, Universal Rank Players, Lunar New Year Players, and a Zodiac Token.

This path could probably be your best bet to earn some Lunar New Year Players, although needless to say all of them are untradeable. The second way to spend your LNY Points is the LNY Gift Store where you can again spend your LNY Points for Lunar New Year Packs, Universal Rank Players, and a Zodiac Token. You may as well use your points in both places. The rewards in the LNY Gift Store resets weekly so watch out the following week and make your pick!

There is a special Lunar New Year-themed Kit as well that you can redeem from the LNY Gift Store. Further right is the much-awaited Zodiac Box! This is the gumball-machine-themed Wheel of Rewards that we have seen in seasons past. There is a slight change to the Box as there are no duplicates involved this year and once you claim a player it’s not replaced with another reward so every time you spin, you get a new player which of course is untradeable.

So basically if you have 12 Zodiac Tokens, you are guaranteed the 95 OVR RW Phil Foden card. But the fun fact is from the event, at most, you can get 3x Zodiac Tokens for free. The remaining you can get from the Store for 32000 Gems in exchange for 9x Zodiac Tokens. With the 32000 Gems, you can get the 95 OVR Phil Foden, but of course, it will be untradeable. So if you are looking to cash in your Gems for an RW, this can be your bet!

Lunar New Year Valour Pass

Similar to all the mini-events, there’s an event-specific Pass for National Valour as well. You need to complete the Quests to gain the Lunar New Year Pass Credits and progress through the Lunar New Year Pass. There are two sides to the Pass with of course the Paid Pass being more lucrative than the Free one.

Gain progress through the National Valour Pass and earn Lunar New Year Players, Universal Rank Players, FC Points, Gems, Pass Points, Coins, and the National Valour special player 94 OVR LB Alphonso Davies!
