Elemental Resonance Explained and Ranked
In Genshin Impact, Elemental Resonance provides benefits such as increasing your team’s damage, decreasing stamina consumption, increasing Elemental resistance, and more. It’s a good idea to have a mix of different elemental abilities when assembling your team of characters. This way, your team will be able to deal with a wide range of challenges. When building your team, consider Elemental Resonance to get the most out of your character’s abilities and make them work better together.

Genshin Impact: Elemental Resonance Ranked
The following is a list of different Elemental Resonances, ranked from best to worst:
1. Pyro Resonance – Fervent Flames
In Genshin Impact, Pyro Resonance increases your team’s Attack (ATK) by 25%. Because many characters in the game rely on their Attack stat to deal damage, having Pyro Resonance can cause your team to hit harder, effectively increasing your damage output.
2. Geo Resonance – Enduring Rock
Geo Resonance strengthens your shields, increasing their strength by 15%. Your characters get some cool bonuses if they have a shield. To begin, any damage they deal is increased by 15%, and this applies to all elemental characters.
Furthermore, attacking enemies reduces their resistance to Geo attacks by 20% for 15 seconds. This is especially beneficial for your Geo DPS (damage per second) character, increasing their effectiveness.
3. Hydro Resonance – Soothing Water
Hydro Resonance now increases your entire team’s HP by 25%, increasing their maximum HP. This is a very useful power-up for players to have on their teams. What’s more, the health boost is especially useful for characters whose damage is proportional to their HP.
There are several damage-dealing characters in Genshin Impact whose attacks become stronger as their HP increases, so this boost is extremely valuable to them.
4. Dendro Resonance – Sprawling Greenery
Dendro Resonance provides several benefits to your team, the most important of which is an increase in Elemental Mastery. Elemental Mastery is increased by 50 as a result of it. When the Burning, Quicken, or Bloom reactions are triggered, all nearby party members gain 30 Elemental Mastery for 6s.
When the Aggravate, Spread, Hyperbloom, or Burgeon reactions are triggered, all nearby party members gain 20 Elemental Mastery for 6s. This is especially beneficial for teams that focus on combining different elemental effects.
5. Cryo Resonance – Shattering Ice
Cryo Resonance increases your ability to land critical hits (CRIT Rate) by 15% when fighting frozen or Cryo-affected enemies. Critical hits are important because they allow you to deal more damage consistently.
There is, however, a catch. Only characters who use the Cryo element will benefit from this bonus. If your character does not use Cryo, this bonus will be less beneficial to them. So, while the increased critical hit chance is useful, it is limited to certain situations and characters.
6. Anemo Resonance – Impetuous Winds
Anemo Resonance has a variety of effects, including a 15% decrease in stamina consumption, a 10% increase in movement SPD, and a 5% reduction in skill CD. Anemo Resonance is more effective than other Elemental Resonance in the game for exploring the game world rather than fighting enemies or completing other challenges.
So it’s a good option if you want to travel around and discover new things. However, if you want to be more powerful in battle, other Elemental Resonance may be more useful.
7. Electro Resonance – High Voltage
The effect of Electro Resonance gives you a 100% chance of producing an electro-elemental particle when you perform reactions such as superconduct, overload, electro-charged, quicken, aggravate, or hyperbloom.
But there is a catch. While this buff appears to be amazing, it is not as powerful as similar buffs for other elements. The Electro Resonance effect has a 5-second cooldown, which means you can’t use it right away. As a result, it is somewhat limited in comparison to the other Elemental Resonance in the game.
8. Four Unique Elements Resonance – Protective Canopy
Four Unique Elements Resonance in Genshin Impact increases your protection. It adds 15% resistance to all types of elemental damage and 15% resistance to physical damage. You’ll need a team with different elemental types to activate Protective Canopy Resonance.
However, while having defensive stats on all characters may sound appealing, it doesn’t make a significant difference in practice. It’s not as effective as it appears.
